Future Career: Renewable Energy?

Hey everyone,
I have to decide over the course of the next fortnight which degree I want to study at QUT, Australia.
I have been awarded Deans Scholars Acelerated Honours Program (Science), which is just a fast tracked Bachelor of Applied Science Degree. Also, I have been awarded Vice Chancellors Scholarship, which just gives me the financial support to get through any degree I choose to study.
My other preferences, include Bach Science/ Mathematics, Bach Engineering (Electrical)/ Mathematics, Bach Engineering, Bach Science.

I want to get into Renewable Energy design. Im just really not sure what field, an Australian university graduate in the field would be best to head towards. Are there any engineers out there who work for big renewable energy industries, do they design the big hydro/wind farms, or the solar towers? I just really dont know what is best for me, Science Degree or Engineering Degree.

Look into the degree and course requirements. It's probably a year or two before you need to make that choice. The best renewable energy industries may not be big, and might not even exist yet. Get the solid background in the understanding of science and the engineering discipline and see where it leads you.
