Solar Design Tools
Electrical Auto CAD Kind of thing?
I need some advice on something.
At my company we do a lot of electrical types of drawings. We actually design solar systems and misc. electrical things, and we are looking for a good computer program for this.
I used CAD in school, and it's kind of what I need, except it has waay more features than we need and costs waaay too much.
Do you guys know of any good 2d (or 3d??) programs that we could use to make our drawings?
It just needs your basic stuff really...electrical symbols, normal construction symbols, line tools for colour and stuff....you know.
Our budget is up to $500 or so, we don't want to go over but we can if we have to.

um autodesk 2005 ,2006 , the new one is 2009 i know that. microstation is another one too i believe i only use autodesk (autocad) but im not familiar with microstation though i hope that helps
