Electrical Work for a Greenhouse?

Hi everyone, I just completed my greenhouse and thought I should put in an electrical line. I bought a solar panel, but it isn't enough to really do anything and I can't afford to keep buying solar panels for a hobby.
My first thought was to use an extension cord that would reach all the way out there and put it in a casing such as PVC and use that.
I don't need very much electricity; just enough to plug in a fan or grow light from time to time.
If there are any suggestions of bringing a line out some other way, please leave a comment.

p.s. the greenhouse is about 50 feet away from the house.

The best way is to bury a 1/2" pvc pipe in the ground run one end in your house and the other to the green house. You will need outdoor wire suitable for undergroud use. That would be NMWU(non metalic wet underground) and since it is 50' use 12/2 or 10/2 wire.
