I need help with my pond?

Hello. I recently put a plastic pond mold in the ground and filled it with water and plants. To try to get the water moving, I tried two different solar powered water fountains, but neither worked correctly. So now, I have purchased another plastic pond mold, and aim to put it about a yard away from the previous one, but lower. Then, I was going to connect the two by a small stream that fed water from the top pond to the bottom pond. When the water reached the bottom, it would be pumped back to the top. I was wondering what kind of mechanism would be able to pump the water back to the top pond. I would like this "mechanism" to be solar powered. Thank you for any input.

No decent solar pump will work for what you want to do. The technology is not developed enough yet.

You will be better off if you treat each pond separately rather than try to move the water from the bottom to the top and back again. Lots of things can impede the downward progress of the water and soon you will have empty ponds because the water leaked out of the stream.
You will need a pump that is powered with electricity tho.
