How much would it cost to install solar powered lighting?

I just have a small house and I'm considering getting it put in, but i've heard it could be expensive.

You should do what I did. When you go with prefab models you'll be spending a minimum of $1500 (more if you use more energy). I went ahead and bought the parts then assembled it myself. I did two units at $200 each which cover my needs (total $400). The quote for my house was nearly $2700. I got the designs from http://www.earth4power.biz which also included places to get all the cheapest parts. It really wasnt as difficult as I thought itd be.
