Solar Nebula Hypothesis
If the solar nebula hypothesis is correct, then there are probably more planets in the universe than stars.?
Do you agree? Why or why not?
I would say there are more planets in the universe than stars. Take our solar system for example, it has more planets than stars. If you assume more systems similar to ours exists, then it is highly likely that more planets exist than stars.

Birth of planetary system Photo Mugs Artwork representing the formation of a planetarysystem around a star based upon the nebularhypothesis. According to this model a solar systemderives from the contraction of a rotating disc-shaped nebula mainly formed by hydrogen, heliumand dust grains. The contraction may be triggeredby shock waves from a nearby supernova explosionor simply by the mutual gravitational attractionof the contents of... |

Solar system formation Photo Mugs Solar system formation. Artwork of the earlysolar system being formed. It is thought that theSun and the planets formed from a cloud of gas anddust around 4. 6 billion years ago. Gravitationalcondensation of this cloud (or nebula) formed aprotostar (lower centre) which has ignited underits own weight. The remaining material forms arotating disc around this newly-formed Sun. Theplanets are forming ... |

Zoo Hypothesis $98.77 The zoo hypothesis is one of a number of suggestions that have been advanced in response to the Fermi paradox, regarding the apparent absence of evidence in support of the existence of advanced extraterrestrial life. According to this hypothesis, aliens would generally avoid making their presence known to humanity, or avoid exerting an influence on human development, somewhat akin to zookeepers observing animals in a zoo, or experimental scientists observing a study that closer examination would ruin.Adherents of the hypothesis consider that Earth and humans are being secretly surveyed using equipment located on Earth or elsewhere in the solar system which relays information back to the observers. It is also suggested that overt contact will eventually be made with humanity once humans reach a certain level of development. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Timpledon, Miriam T./ Marseken, Susan F. Claw Hypothesis $81.25 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The CLAW hypothesis proposes a feedback loop that operates between ocean ecosystems and the Earths climate. The hypothesis specifically proposes that particular phytoplankton that produce dimethyl sulfide are responsive to variations in climate forcing, and that these responses lead to a negative feedback loop that acts to stabilise the temperature of the Earths atmosphere. The CLAW hypothesis was originally proposed by Robert Charlson, James Lovelock, Meinrat Andreae and Stephen Warren, and takes its acronym from the first letter of their surnames. EfficientMarket Hypothesis $81.25 In finance, the efficientmarket hypothesis (EMH) asserts that financial markets are informationally efficient, or that prices on traded assets (e.g., stocks, bonds, or property) already reflect all known information, and instantly change to reflect new information. Therefore, according to theory, it is impossible to consistently outperform the market by using any information that the market already knows, except through luck. Information or news in the EMH is defined as anything that may affect prices that is unknowable in the present and thus appears randomly in the future. The hypothesis has been attacked lately by critics who blame belief in rational markets for much of the current financial crisis, with noted financial journalist Roger Lowenstein recently declaring The upside of the current Great Recession is that it could drive a stake through the heart of the academic nostrum known as the efficientmarket hypothesis.
