If crops could be cooled and hibernate during 2 weeks of night under low light or no light at all that lunar bases will most likely succeed. Finally, there will be solar central both sides of the Moon and an electrical grid for a constant power bases. During the lunar day abundant solar energy could all kinds of industry and light filtered supply for crops, but at night we had the power to industry and rely on stored energy. O2 would be stored per day of CO2 could be frozen by night because the plants will not be hibernating able to recycle the CO2 to oxygen.
