can I take my solar panels on my roof?

I put solar PV on my house 3 years ago and now we heading into our off-grid home. I want to take my roof panels and put them on the new house. can I sell my old house without the signs, even if I had a discount on them to go on the old house?

You will probably void the warranty on the system installation, but if you have signs, they are yours to take. The kindest thing to do would be to leave the spacers, if you take the door. If you take the spacers, leaving holes in your roof, no good unless you redo the roof. I would like to leave the UPS, which is not good off-grid, anyway, but turn off the breaker feeding the panel. Make PV easy drop-in for the next owner. But personally, I would leave the panels. They are probably increasing the marketability of the house, and maybe the price. And besides, I expect a steep drop in prices, perhaps 25% last year, panel prices later this year. If I misunderstood, and you're keeping both houses, most of the arguments could still apply.
