Solar Photosphere

Which layer of the sun is visible during a total solar eclipse?
A. photosphere
B. chromosphere
C. core
D. corona
Look at it logically. The core is inside the Sun, and hence is never visible. The photosphere is the visible surface of the Sun normally, but it must be hidden during and eclipse if anything is hidden then. The corona normally is not visible because the photosphere is so much brighter, but it becomes visible when the photosphere is covered in the eclipse.
However, one could make a case that the chromosphere is sometimes visible in an eclipse.
