what is the difference between aerospace, aeronautical engineering and astronautics?

I am in year 12 right now and Im very interested in stuff like International Space Station, Venus probes, space-based solar power and space crafts. So I'm going to apply for aerospace engineering courses using ucas but it lists even the courses for aeronautical engineering which I though is about the aircraft and not about the space crafts. In the future I want to pursue a career in the space development industry and not the that of aircraft. I dont want to be an aeronautical engineer so I should apply for a AEROSPACE engineering course right? This ucas makes me really confused...
So aerospace is about spacecraft and aeronautical is about aircraft right?
Please someone confirm me if Im right and I would be grateful if anyone could advice me on the course i should apply for....

Aerospace engineering is a combination of aeronautical and astronautical engineering. Each university teaching aerospace varies on their weighting of each of these subjects, so you need to be VERY careful, as there are uni's in the UK that claim to teach aerospace engineering, but in fact are teaching aeronautical engineering. A good plan would be to go onto the specific uni websites and look into the course details (the actual modules taught) ... from that you will get a good idea on what exactly you'd be doing.

So what you want to do is look for either astronautical engineering courses, or aerospace courses with weighting on astronautics. I know Southampton has the perfect course for you, and is one of the best universities for aerospace and astronautics in the UK.
