My dog started shaking when I turned on my headlamp solar system, but not the first time.?

I solar system projector for Christmas and the projected stars form green lazer moving on my ceiling. Well I used about 3 or 4 times since and my dog stared at him, but other than that really paid it no attention. Well I just turned and ran into my bathroom and trembled ... what happened? Why is he afraid of him? lol to add detail that's not a very bright light on a lazer keychain is more light and the room was still a light. I turned it on because the last time, he watched every move so I thought it would like again.
