Solar Research Grants

Solar Research Grants
Is global warming a big swindle to justify our governemnts for taxing us more?

Over recent years I have taken a big interest in alleged global warming- I have heard both sides of the argument and have watched Al Gores "Inconvenient Truth". If you look into the evidence, you will come to the concluison as I have that it is THE SUN (sun flares and solar wind) that causes the majority of the earth's warming. What human beings do (fossel fuels etc) has less that 1% of contributory global warming.(GW). Volcanos, the ocean and cattle farts emit far more CO2 that anything we can do. Weather and environmental experts often dont agree with our blame in GW but officially support their view because they get no grants for important research if they dont. The environmental movement is a massive industry that wants us to beleive we are responsible. However all said- I recycle and am appalled by the decimation of the the rain forests, which I beleive is a scandal and support my local environment and open spaces and trees.

Good intentions, bad spin and administration.

United States Grants to Universities

United States Grants to Universities

$96.59

The purpose of this study was to examine a previous funding success model for its use across disciplines in order to identify the significant behaviors, networking activities, and demographic profile that contributed to the successful receipt of United States grant awards. A comprehensive model of funding success was identified. The ability to participate in grantfunded research can be critical to new faculty seeking tenure and to institutions seeking funding to support research activities. Only a few recent studies have attempted to systematically investigate the behaviors that lead to federal grant awards. The investment in academic research is great, with the U.S. Federal government investing 15 billion annually in academic research. This causes fierce competition among research universities, who attempt to increase income and intellectual gain to students. The key to pursuing grant funding lies in discovering the motivators that attract faculty. Becoming a complete scholar is traditionally identified as behavior associated with preparing proposals, participating in research projects, and publishing research results.
