Older versions does not work that way. Or it could simply be a defective copy. I have a game, then it would not save, and Japanese characters began talking. What the hell. Well, it's either that or there may have anti virus program on your computer tries to get rid of it (as games nocash normally several bugs), make sure each time you play the game, have no windows other up, ect. And where did you download it from. Normally, the best site megaupload.com, it's pretty reliable, although I have not tried other sites.
