Is there a way to make electricity in Michigan?

Solar Panels won't work because I live with alot of tall trees. And theres not much in the way of wind so no windmills either. Is there another way? I was thinking (dumb me) of like a bike thing that produces electricity, so you get a workout (for track!) and free electricity for your house. Well the cheaper the better of course!

The bike method works, also I had a hand crank thing I made out of an old school style pencil sharpener, you could probably find the plans online.
